Will You Hate Me For My Friend Count?
Since I began to take Facebook more seriously four months ago, I’ve been trying to make more sense of it. I want to find the best way to seriously connect with people online and build relationships. My thoughts have changed wildly from one end to the other on this, but I’ve come up with a strategy I’m pretty happy with.
The problem is, it all comes down to one thing I haven’t been able to decide: how do people react to someone with a big friend count? This is a major issue for me, and has led to my own social media motto: be a connector, not a collector.
